What you need to know about COVID-19 Vaccines (09/12/2023)
- Everyone aged 6 years and older should get 1 updated Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine to be up to date.
- People aged 65 years and older may get a 2nd dose of updated Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.
- People who are moderately or severely immunocompromised may get additional doses of updated Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.
- Children aged 6 months–5 years may need multiple doses of COVID-19 vaccine to be up to date, including at least 1 dose of updated Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, depending on the number of doses they’ve previously received and their age.
- COVID-19 vaccine recommendations will be updated as needed

COVID-19 Home Test Kits
Beginning Monday, September 25th, every houshold can order another round of COVID-19 Home Test Kits for FREE. Simply visit www.covidtests.gov to order yours, do note there is a limit of four test kits per household.
OraSure Technologies’ InteliSwab COVID-19 Rapid Tests
The expiration date of OraSure Technologies’ InteliSwab COVID-19 Rapid Tests was extended from an original 12 month expiration to an 18 month expiration back on March 23rd, 2023. The FDA’s shelf-life extension list is linked below where you can reference your lot number and locate the new expiration date.

iHealth COVID-19 Test Kits
The iHealth Test Kit webpage has a useful tool that allows individuals to look up the updated expiration date of their iHealth COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test Kits.
